>how are people seeing a dark background when the background is clearly bright af

Some perceive the image as, she is in a dark room with camera facing a bright outside.
Therefore the brain adjusts the perception of the color accordingly.

I can't de/sci/de what career path I want to take. I'm looking at the general area of math and the two careers I'm looking at are as an actuary or as some kind of engineer, perhaps mechanical or civil. What have you chosen? Why? Do you have any regrets? What would you have chosen if you could make the choice again? It seems like people who try for Computer Engineering or Computer Science already have knowledge in that field. I have none. Is it still possible to do it fairly easily with no experience?
