1/3 = 0.333...

3*(1/3) = 3*(0.333...) = 3/3 = 0.999... = 1

Also if 0.999... =!= 1
Then you're saying theres something in between. Say zero point an infinite nines plus another one. But that's not how infinite works, because then you didn't have infinite point nines in the first place.
