Denial: A psychological defense mechanism to protect you from unwanted feelings.

We can still set foot on mars for a few days and return, but not make permanent human colony like a lot of people believe.

I know this sounds cheezy, but I'm going to quote Carl Sagan here: "It will not be we who reach Alpha Centauri and the other nearby stars. It will be a species very like us.."

The only way 'we' can venture into deep space, is to technological enhance ourselves before making a permanent presence there. So that's not going to happen any time soon. Not this generation, nor the next, nor the one after.

Is there any video footage of an untethered space walk, or of a spacecraft rotating/translating using its reaction control thrusters?
