Your post has some serious errors in it. You have failed to account account for the meaning of "to publish." Also, you have failed to demonstrate the relevance of the academic sense to me, someone who is not a member of any academy, and is not an academic, and does not claim to be an academic. Please revise your statement to account for the meaning of the words you use and, separately, demonstrate your motivations for applying the academic sense to those who are not academics and/or do not engage in academic activities.
