Linguistics is /sci/ too right?

What's going on with the vowel joining the stem to the personal ending in Indo-European languages? It seems like a vowel ablaut but it isn't regular across languages. E.g.

Latin:
terreō terrēs terret terrēmus terrētis terrent

Greek:
luo lueis luei luomen luete luousi

Sanskrit:
bhavāmi bhavasi bhavati bhavāmas bhavatha bhavanti

To be fair, I meant it in a rather broad sense. I figured /sci/ would be posting interesting /sci/-related stuff, where as /b/tards post some meaningful things along with how to hack facebooks, spotting the samefag, and starting up a 4chan gold account.
