http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Infinity

"Georg Cantor formalized many ideas related to infinity and infinite sets during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. In the theory he developed, there are infinite sets of different sizes (called cardinalities).[2] For example, the set of integers is countably infinite, while the set of real numbers is uncountably infinite."

You trolling or just stoopid? This stuff is literally taught to fucking highschool students. It isn't that hard to understand kid.

Why exactly do we need to learn science?

It seems like the most useless class for 99% of the student population. It should be elective only. Most of it is just theory and completely useless to regular jobs we will be taking up. I don't need to know a damn thing about atoms/electrons/chemicals/physics/astronomy for nearly any job out there. To me it's just a waste of tax dollars and time when our students could be learning more useful stuff that actually has an impact on their life.
