Noice, I don't know much about geology but it's certainly more interesting than enviro-sci fags bitching about cars and "muh aminals, muh polar bears muhfugga". Geology might even be more relevant to climate science anyways, since much of Earf's GHG supply is locked up in rock and only released during flood volcanism, and flood volcanism coincides with almost all of the largest mass extinctions and major biosphere changes.
Speaking of which, I'd certainly like to know what in Mars' geology lends itself so incredibly well to the formation of ultra sized shield volcanoes.
