Where do you meet /sci/ friends? Everyone I've met has been some kind of pre-health person. They're not interested in science at all, only on what will get them into med school. They're completely self-absorbed and it really makes me feel alone, even if I get along with them.

For example, I am starting to do monkey work for undergrad genetics research and instantly the pre-meds only were interested in how it would help them get into med school, not that doing research was interesting.
