They're mad because their labels keep getting associated with their actions, which taints them and turns them into negative terms. Woke and SJW were meant to be positive terms for leftists who engage in radical activism to bully society into meeting their demands. They wanted to gain external validation (the crack cocaine of the leftist's existence) from applying the terms to themselves. But that only works inside their bubbles for a short period. Once someone starts using the term outside of the bubble, the rest of society equates it with the negative attributes of those who wear it.
The irony here is that they've been busy trying to change the definition of words throughout society to match their goals and worldview but now are angry that their made up words keep going from their fantasy definitions to meanings that accurately reflect who they are. And no matter how much they try, they can't force society to accept their fantasy definitions instead of the ones based on observation and experience.
The last stage is to deny that they ever used the terms to describe themselves and claim it was their evil enemies (for which they do have their own made up labels) who coined the terms. Both SJW and Woke are tainted but they'll come up with something new and that will quickly get tainted too.
Life is hell when you live in a reality without up and down arrows on everything to create an artificial bubble "reality".
