Ok, so now I have to collect data for hospitals in all of the 50 states to prove to you that America is testing people clearly dying of a respiratory disease during the most evident pandemic in 100 years.

Ok I concede. We are just "that" bad. Congo tier healthcare here, it's all over.

Currently preparing to begin lab work on my engineer thesis. It's based on creating composites from reduced graphene oxide and conductive polymers (polypyrole or polyaniline), in order to create high capacity capacitors. Seemingly this technology has it's possible usefullnes in new generation of batteries, so we are now tampering with various process parameters, to check which one yields the best results.

After that, I'm going to rush straight into major course (1,5 additional years), trying to research more into this field. For the job perspectives, I hope that I'll be able to get some connections and find myself a nice PhD contract which will both yield me some money, as well as nice environment to conduct my research. Do I like it? Hell yes I do, if I didn't, I'd be doing something enirely else, duh.

It isn't, and being a Software Developer is actually lucrative money-wise and a comfy role in general. They're wrong about it all.

I ignored the memes 5 years ago and it paid off.

>I consider it a meme, had it measured once for lulz and got somewhere around 135

All I've got to say is, 5 years ago when I first decided to go into CS, I used to come on here and feel a little worried/discouraged by all of the anti-CS memery

>Joke STEM degree!
>oversaturated market!
>not a real science!

And now I'm graduated, have the comfiest software engineering job in the world (was really easy to find, in a decent city), get paid well, have tons of free time, and only smirk at this kind of childish shit

so keep that in mind if you're bothered by the "CS is a meme" meme on here. It is 100% straight up sour grapes

>Internet communication desperately needs reform. Don't even get me started on Twitter.

Let me guess, you want to grant power and control to some large entity in government to """"""regulate"""""" and control speech on the internet. And this power will surely not be abused by the first person with an agenda and desire to contort the politics their way.

This gets so tiring. Crazy pills tier. You can't trust humans so stop giving them more fine grained control, keep things decentralized and let the system sort itself out. You're on 4chan for fucks sake.
