The state of the art probably won't use legs then. If this challenge has demonstrated anything, it's that "humanoid" robots probably aren't the best thing at working in environments designed for humans. Look at some of the ATLASes drive a car and attempt to get out. Even though ATLAS is "anthropomorphic," it can't fit in a car.
