Op here, think of resonance as quantum entanglement and the static charge the Scarab develops as a way to amplify said entanglement. The Buzzing sound the scarab makes is just as important as being positively charged. You should be asking yourself why it is important for the beetle to be charged and what frequency it is trying to achieve. Real talk here, I asked a history professional recently and these things did indeed exist. People mock Nazi's for taking the Swastika (mathematical symbol for centrifugal force) as their symbol and studying occult knowledge primarily in India.
