Why does technology advance over time? Im not sure if this question is more scientific or philosophical but I'll ask here. When will technology stop advancing?

How do I stop wasting my time on useless bullshit and spend almost all of my freetime studying and learning?

If you want to learn science for fun you should start with math right? then physics, then chemistry, then biology. So; How much math should I learn before starting physics? also I will probably only go through introductory textbooks for each subject; I'm not smart enough for advanced studies.

And I had already prepared a post lambasting university rankings. This is weird, usually my school doesn't appear because it's small and in continental Yurope. Are american rankings finally getting better?
