how will you write a general formula? this is a single question. for a formula there usually is some value 'n' which is changing, which corresponds to a number change somewhere else.
you could make a general formula between grid size and number of possible unique shapes, but if it is just a 9X9 grid permanently i fail to see how you can make a formula out of this.

cars are very heavy, you have evidence of this (try and lift one for example...) and you know they go fast.
by using logic and evidence, you know it is unwise to try to be run over by one.
