I have well water and it smells like mud.

It's hard to brush my teeth or wash my face or even shower without smelling this. It's clear water, but it smells like mud.

It happened a few months ago, but people who were fixing the house for other problems did something and it was fixed. Now this smell is back... and I don't know what to do. I could get a filter, but it would still be there. I really want to get to the source and fix this problem.
