if light and dark existed in a confined space, and the both came in equal amounts. What could happen as the two connected with each other, would the light overpower the dark or vice versa, or because of the confined space would some other sort of reaction occur?

I was reading along list in one of my psychology books , it was about what people think makes people happy.
It was a meta analysis an considered many options. This study came up with Love/Marriage, Vocation,
and genetics. Money was listed as making people modestly happy.

I am a lowly high school senior, but I had an excellent idea. First, let me explain what brought me to this idea:
the setting - Forensic Science class
the discussion - Breathalyzer tests
the problem - how to beat the Breathalyzer
>Teacher explains to us that the Breathalyzer test is unbeatable seeing as it goes by alcohol content being expelled through your lungs.

My idea was about an inhaler, teacher dismisses idea saying "what are you going to do, breath it in and hold your breath?"
She missed my point. What if your could inhale a chemical that could either neutralize the alcohol or block it in general without stopping the release of carbon dioxide?
Breathalyzers work based on fluorescence, and the more alcohol in your system the more fluorescent your breath is...
