What is the minimum number of people required to “restart” the human race? Let’s say that ISRU exists on Mars already and we can build habitats, electronics, etc. Would 100 people be enough? 50? What if you brought frozen embryos?

Hi bro’s I just thought I’d like to show you that testing of my Duna base is going well. This version can support a crew of 12 or so. That module to the lower left is actually the crew transport and it can bring 6 Karbala from orbit down to Duna’s surface (but not back up). Anyhow, I plan on staffing the base with 100 permanent crew members. It’ll need at least 25 modules and 17 or so crew landings. This will not be easy, but we do things because we can. I’ll keep you guys posted.
