The first has implied grouping symbols around the denominator. If you wrote it inline it would be 6/(2(1+2)). Take away the outer grouping symbols and order of operations makes the answer 9.

Is integer only physics possible? Is there any kind of physics operation which can only be performed with integers?

I'm working on transpiling my language to Fortran because a physicist was nice to me and told me about computational physics. Fortran likes complex numbers and I haven't implemented anything except integers yet.

I can spend time making complex numbers in SLAM, but it might not be worth the effort if the only application is the physics niche and people in that niche aren't interested.

If you're playing with your computer to make a science program, would you rather have a tool which compiles to RISC-V machine code, or a tool which transpiles to some flavor of Fortran which is compileable with gfortran?

I ask because some /sci/entists told me about computational physics and those guys like Fortran because it goes really fast.

We need to study how to destroy other planets, and military technology necessary to conquer them.

Our first communications with alien worlds should be a supercut of all the atrocities we've done throughout history. Atomic bombs. Leopold fucking Africa. A lot of different genocides. Everything. It should then end with a promise to do much worse to them, should they fail to immediately, and unconditionally surrender to humanity and accept their new status as a slave race for the empire that now owns them.

Manmade horrors beyond comprehension are only bad when we do them to each other. Doing them to other worlds populated by non-humans should be our favorite pastime.

By 2222 I want humans putting out reports like:

>New target for colonization located
>Current occupants ignore our broadcast
>2 hours pass
>8 billion hostile aliens killed by orbital bombardment
>2 weeks go by
>all remaining aliens have been shot by marines
>human colonization begins
>welcome to Earth II
>we're gonna use this planet for storage
>add this planet to the mixtape we send to aliens before driving them to extinction if they refuse to adapt their cultures to service us
>new planet
>not habitable by humans
>natives won't give us their shit or accept subject status in the empire
>planet is redesignated as a test range for experimental weapons
>a few days later a weapons test turns the uncooperative alien world into a debris field
>welcome to your new asteroid belt you surly alien fuckers
>this is what happens when you tell humanity "no"
>add it to the mixtape for the next race
>maybe the next species will be smart enough to understand who owns the stars and not challenge them in the name of self-preservation

The whole universe belongs to humanity, and aliens should be sure that declaration is backed up with a willingness to dispassionately destroy everything they know and love.

Your planet isn't yours. It's our planet. We just haven't decided if/how to kill you and take it yet.
