If perception is limited to the physical receivers of the human body, how can a singular human being verify their surroundings, be completely certain of what is there and what is not there without the collective agreement of those around them?

I suppose its a stretched version of "If my brain is blind, how can I be sure what I am seeing is real, outside the knowledge I already have of the viewed subject?

I guess this is more of a philosophy question.

Is there a place in science for someone who isn't good at maths? Because the only occupation I'd be content with would be in one of the sciences, preferably involving space, and if I can't achieve that I might as well axe myself right now. Also I'm trying to avoid biology.

Khan Academy is pretty good, but it lacks practice problems for most sciences. Also, I was fortunate enough to have a really great chemistry teacher in high-school, so I kept a few notes packed away in case I planned on giving chemistry another look at. If you want I could try scanning some of the notes. There isn't much and it's all pretty basic, but I think they're pretty clear.

Baruch Spinoza believed that everything that exists in Nature (i.e., everything in the Universe) is one reality, and that there is only one set of rules governing the whole of the reality which surrounds us and of which we are part. Basically we are all an integral part of the System.

Essentially, the universe and everything that exists is a giant Rube Goldberg machine and you are the tiniest part. You can comprehend nothing of the whole project, only the small section of which you are a part. Everything you do in your entire life is exactly what the machine needs to set off the next chain and, ultimately, acomplish it's goal. Everything you do in life is actually the most important thing in the world at that moment.

And what is the ultimate goal? To develop a unified theory of course! Only then will we be able to predict the fate of the universe and prepare to stop it if possible (or desired).

Guys, I need to know:

Is there any chemical or bacteria out there, which if your teeth were exposed to for only a few seconds, would be able to clean them with even anything close to the effectiveness two minutes of manual brushing would?

Something a lot stronger than mouthwash, since thats not really a very good substitute for brushing your teeth.
