Funding is not the issue with spaceflight. NASA has fully half the budget of Apollo peak, and $20 billion is plenty enough for both sustained Moon and Mars missions. The issue is gross mismanagement corruption and inefficiency, not size of the budget.

>NASA won't reach mars or the moon anytime soon. their budget is laughably tiny
$20 billion per year is not tiny at all, and NASA budget is fully half of Apollo peak, inflation adjusted, stop excusing NASA incompetence and corruption with "muh budget" BS

>the only reason the technology (and NASA in general) "stagnated" is that they kept getting their funding fucked out the ass.

Bullshit, NASA budget is roughly half of Apollo peak, when adjusted for inflation, and steady since the end of Apollo. So lack of funding is not the reason, the reason is gross incompetence and political interference that resulted in the Shuttle debacle, and then inability to cancel the abomination for 30 fucking years. And they are still at it with the SLS idiocy.
