How do we add gravity to Mars?

So we are getting closer and closer to going to mars how long do you guys think it would take to terraform Mars and make it into an Earth-like planet and is it even worth it what other planet would be better, and if Mars is better what kind of new resources can we expect to get and how could it change science and life here on earth.
