I once tried to get a toast out using a metal fork when the toaster was turned on..

How does one get a phd in statistics? Do you have to invent some new method for the subject? Or doing some bulk statistical work is enough? Also, do you need a formal degree for you to be eligible? pic related is OP

i always have like 50 "thoughts" going through my head at once so i always take longer than i should to do any sort of math, especially simple calculations (studying data sci). It used to not bother me until the last couple months it's become significantly worse

i've tried low doses of adderall (12mg) but basically all it does is give me a longer attention span/ make me more "energetic"

am i just doomed to be slow? what do I do /sci/?
