People naturally fear those who are larger than themselves because they all know that the bigger guy is also stronger and could easily kick their ass.
Thats where most of the hatred for fat people comes from, although nobody will ever admit that, they will always rationalize their hatred in other ways, but its telling that theres no mass hatred for thin people, or for people who consume a lot of food resources by burning off all the excess calories.
Just seeing the body language in this photo is enough to tell the tale, the big guy standing proud next to the frightened submissive little guy
