Venus probably does not have thunderstorms. There isn't very good evidence for lightning on Venus. Not to mention, as far as we understand Venus' clouds they are believed to be much thinner than storm clouds on Earth. Even precipitation events are predicted to be so light, that you can barely even call them rain. So thunderstorms probably can't happen on Venus. Volcanically generated lightning may be possible though. See "Lightning detection on Venus: a critical review."(can't link it)
We should send another probe. Hopefully the DAVINCI mission gets funded.
