the human brain might not be able to consciously multitask to increase efficiency but I believe it is able to multithread very efficiently if it is not forced to do it deterministically.

ask yourself if you ever had a single train of thought for an extended period (like an hour or a day).

I don't think any human can keep a single train of thought over more than a few seconds but I also think that this is a human feature, rather than a bug.

We humans are made by nature to adapt to changes, so we can easily de-cluster (scatter) our work-tasks over our working period intuitively (in a non-deterministic way) without sacrificing efficiency! The fact that we cannot know before, what sequence of tasks will be the best choice before we start actually makes us more efficient because it means we can choose tasks intuitively.

other example: any artist will tell you that creating art is never a purely systematic approach, there is always a random/intuitive/non-deterministic aspect to it because that is how our brains work.

For me every non-automatable kind of human work is an artform in a way because the point of it is only to create cultural/intellectual value. But since human work creates human value, that means every artform is also real human work, like farming.

Considering the fact that most physical human work will be replaced by machines in the future, our societies definition of work has to be adjusted. eg. it shouldn't be considered bad practice to work jump between multiple tasks when creating intellectual work. (code, art, law, etc.)

I think that fixed work schedules are status quo out of convenience in schedule creating and NOT because it is the most efficient way for humans to work.

I'm a layman so I hope you get the idea

tldr; not-fixed(non-deterministic) work schedules would enable humans to work more efficiently in the future.

I just realised that our whole life and existance is a prank. Like, the whole universe is a prank, and there are some higher beings out there that we can't even imagine how they are, or how they work, and they are experiencing in some way, or watching in some way, our reality here, and they are laughing their asses off.

How does it feel knowing all engineers are literally low IQ morons who can't force a square block through a cylindrical hole
