When I was going to college, I took my access to journals for granted because I hated having to read them to do my lab reports. Now i'd like to read them just for the hell of it, but of course I don't have access anymore. Are there any good science journals I can read for free? I'm mostly interested in chemistry or biology.

imho the problem with asking such a question here is that there are many people who think they understand the point of the thought experiment when in fact they don't.
(in fact this is true for many related questions. You can't learn quantum mechanics from school textbooks or wikipedia)

Which are the books (on physics (and maybe math)) that stand out for you. What are, for you, books that are above average in the context of learning.
