I was wondering whether there is a solution to "rational sudoku". More formally: Is there a function [math]k:\mathbb{Q}^2\rightarrow\mathbb{Z}[/math] such that for all [math]t,q\in\mathbb{Q}[/math], the functions [math]k_1:x\mapsto k(x,t)[/math] and [math]k_2:y\mapsto k(q,y)[/math] are bijective?

Is the correct term "Ternary number" or "Trinary number"? The Truth™ has both concepts but is a bit inconsistent:
