Why is OP refering to off-shell quantities? I'm not even sure if OP is particularly familiar with fields.

And I don't know which background "comes out of" weil invariance. Are you talking about the quantized theory here already?

Which two questions where these?

I do/did physics at university. I thought that's fairly obviouse.
Now I'm technically someone working in the field of physics/chemisty-simulations.
However, I read lots of math and philosoph, so I'd really say I study both.
