There are few post graduate programs I am interested in, some of which are in Japan, I am legitimately interested in their research and want to be part of it. However, there are waaay too many weaboos in Japan: pasty white anime fans and Indonesians who think Japan is some sort of real life anime, and I'm afraid that if there are too many of them, the japanese government might be hesitant to let more foreigners in.

I actually am attending for academic reasons and yet I'm afraid I'm going to get denied a slot for any of their programs because a bunch white otakus from Idaho who think there's going to be an army of anime girls with their legs spread out waiting for them are already flooding the country as well as deviantart anime fangirls thinking that japan is a giant yaoi
