I know that feel bro. I went to Waterloo for my undergrad in computer science. It's the only university in Canada with more men than women.

If you're any good you can get a job as a professor in some shitty school in some shitty town somewhere in the states. If you want a permanent pure research job you're going to have to be extremely good. If you want a faculty or pure research job in the city of your choosing you're going to pretty much have to be god tier.
