I have no doubt that this is published scientific research. I wasn't specifically calling OP a conspiracy theorist. I would say OP he is more of a luddite, and they have a lot of similarities with conspiracy theorists, but they're not necessarily the same thing.
My point is, OP is a moron who doesn't understand science, and he wants to hold back scientific progress, not because he has any logical or evidence based argument for doing so, but rather because off his personal feelings and his self-righteous moral conviction that what these scientists are doing is somehow "evil", and he is somehow morally superior to these scientists, and thinks they should have to adhere to his moral standards. Well guess what, nobody has to adhere to your personal moral standards. Conservatives are all about muh freedom until they see something that offends them and their conservative sensibilities, and then they forget all about the "freedom" they claim to value.
