Once I get off work I'm going to spend some quality time with a training manual for motorcycle riding classes and rewatch Venus Wars.

I got to write software this week that will be going in to space with TROPICS. It's just a small part but it's all mine. Astra better not fuck this up.

>Exposure to twitter and reddit would make anyone think that 99.999% of the population were extreme left aligned. Turns out that's simply a result of toxic leftists pushing away every single person who isn't toxic-left. Most of the internet has become what 2013 Tumblr used to be.
Tumblrinas from 2013 are running all the HR departments, DEI offices, and social media marketing teams now.

Another fun fact: 0.01g * 1 year =~ 0.01c
Get a system that can thrust for 20 years and you can build a generation ship that gets to Alpha Centauri in less than a century. These thrusters are a Big Fucking Deal.

>>12351853
They're also much better than ion drives on thrust efficiency. You can get like 0.01N/kW instead of 0.0001N/kW, and with much cheaper propellant.

Yes, with our network cable star drives and adhesive tape thrusters launched on garage built SRBs we will conquer the moon.

Can you just buy tetrazine, or do you need to synthesize it from NO2?

>4ASS calls the FAA for a launch window
>"It says that your solid fueled first stage is called Big Chungus Ate All The Rocket Candy, your liquid second stage is Laughing Gas Giga Nigga, your first stage's projected landing site is Senator Shelby's house, your payload fairings have grid fins and are programmed to land on flat-earth fundamentalist churches, and the environmental warning section just says YES."

I completely wrecked my sleep cycle but I was awake for liftoff and I'll be awake for docking. Totally worth it. I'll just sleep early Sunday evening.

>>11744355
While that's true, I think it won't be competitive on cost until bigger boosters are available so you can scale it up a bit and integrate the engines for pure reusable TSTO, like SuperHeavy or New Glenn. If they can pull that off I do think it would be the best option for passenger service to orbit, barring magic torch drives that allow spaceplanes that take off horizontally.

>>11744374
There's something really appealing to me about the autism of the Cyngus/Antares stack launching from Wallops, like a precursor program to 4ASS.
>hey let's take this giant solid fueled ICBM and add more SRB stages to make an orbital booster to sell ISS ferry flights
>what should the spacecraft design be?
>corrugated tin can with mickey mouse ears :DDDDDD
