OP is asking a nonsensical question. "Better" implies that a judgement can be made, which implies experience and a scale to grade things on or at least the ability to make a comparative hierarchy (better things > worse things).

"No conscious experience" cannot be evaluated for these reasons. It can't be put on the scale because it means "no reading." You might as well ask why purple is better than four.

Does /sci/ know of a good online resource for brushing up on basic algebra?
