Not sure if this is the right place for this, but is anyone here familiar with game theory and solving for mixed strategy Nash equilibrium in matrices larger than 2x2? I'm in a real fucking bind with this problem set and was hoping someone could explain it to me.

ANSWER: Who the fuck cares? This is something we postulate and use to expand upon basically everything else you know. Do you think the people who decided it would be a good idea to eat protein-rich foods after they exercise pondered why they had to eat anyway? Both planets evolve intelligent life at the same time.

The inner planet perhabs a few 100 years ahead of the outer.
When the inner planet discovers the telescope would they be able to see that the other planet has life?

How do you think such two planets would interact?
