Hey /sci/,
What is your favorite unit of measurement? For me it's Teslas, just because it sounds cool. Nikola Tesla was a pretty cool guy too.

As I said, you'll never get it.

My advice? Stop drinking tap water. Too much fluoride for you.

We need a Deathray. You guys have the skills. How would it work? I've seen stuff about highspeed electrified particles, but how come we can't make shit like this on XXI century while this guy came up with those ideas on the early 1900s?

Why do they teach Edison's history is schools. Edison was a complete douche bag and didn't actually invent anything. He stole the idea for the light bulb from a British inventor called Joseph Swan, who invented it and patented it many years before Edison did.
Edison publicly murdered animals with AC current to show how 'dangerous' it was, even though AC was actually safer.

>Edison offered Tesla $50,000 if he could invent a more efficient way of using electricity. He then said Tesla didn't understand American humour when he tried to claim his reward.
Edison confirmed for cunt

>Edison payed his employees to invent for him, while he stole the credit and made money out of his employees work.
Edison confirmed for not actually inventing anything

Most of you ignore Tesla because he's a 'scientist for hipsters'.

That is the most hipster thing I've ever heard.

Hey fellow /sci/entists. Tell me, how did you end up here at 4chan? A place anyone would agree is basically the dumping ground of the internet. Seems a strange place for science. Aren't there forums and libraries and other places for you?

pic related, it's Tesla.
