lol, no I mean a systematic resouce. More specific on theorems and results than wikipedia (no explaination in that sense necessary) and not one concerned with research level like articles or say arXiv.

Here the two programming introduction classes at MIT and Stanford, respectively. Both quite good I guess.

The first one (MIT) uses Python, which is a higher language than C/C++, meaning some things are easier/more intuitive to do, but it's not really talking to the hardware as much as lower languages do. You don't have as much control, which can be a good or a bad thing. It's to code smaller things in shorter time.

The second one uses Java, which is also a higher level language designed as a slim version of C++ if you will. It looks more simular to C++ than java does.

Anyway, if you watch both lecutes in that order (maybe two a day) and code most of the presented stuff so you know the concepts beforehand, than you should be pimp in your class.
