tl;dr : this is a thread about SpaceX's Hyperloop Student Pod Design Competition

We had two great meetings and pretty much gathered all the people we need. But still, if you feel like you want in, just mail me at possessedmanager@gmail.com . This is a /sci/ community event, remember.

There are guys who have not checked into the Slack (i'm looking at you Stefan and Fourie and aeemnrsu and ad infinitum), but we've decided to make Slack our primary messaging tool. People are very glad that we did the change and we can now keep the track of chats from our mobile phones, thus having a better communication team and project wide.

Other than that, we have three team leads, and the design lead in place. Now we're waiting for everyone to slot themselves into the team lists that they like.

Hint: The team list is on the second sheet of Hyperloop Contact List xlsx on Drive.

We will have our next meeting on Saturday, UTC 3 pm. Please check our agenda and emails for updates and to-do's. But most important thing is to get the team assembly done, at least to the major part.

Dodo is the design lead and he will prepare a high-level project program until Saturday. Under him are team leads - Hardware: Fourie, Software: ZugZug and System Management: Pinks. After we assemble our team, we will start internal team communications as well.

Aaand hopefully sometime soon we'll have a wikia of our own!
