Hey /sci/, quick question. I need help understanding something from BCS theory: how does one show that the Cooper pair flow is actually dissipationless? The simplest idea that I got is since that there's an energy gap in excitation spectrum the Cooper-pair state simply cannot scatter to anything. Is that it?
