So I have a colleague I get on well with (nothing romantic, just good chemistry). She ticks off all boxes but also complained to me that she doesn't understand people and people don't understand her. She is unhappy about the situation. Seems I can talk to her, then again I am able to get into contact with all kind sof people.
She does not have a diagnosis. She is emplooyed and is WFH for about 3 years and her colleagues have hardly seen her.
Should I tell her to see a doctor?

WAGMI! That is why this general was created.
As for worth it, that is a harder question than many first think. The firest few jobs I did were really badly paid but I got to see the world and somehow got a lot of experiences along the way. These days I am in a financially very good position. My colleagues, who took the more direct route, have probably done a lot better than me financially, but I dare say I got the most out of my youth. And that counts more as you get older.

Perhaps catch up on some sleep? Listen to calming music? Spend some time with your pets? Staying comfy?
It is not necessary to do something at all times.

The US is now in a recession:

Most likely a lot of companies will hesitate in employing more people. Standard practice for bad managers is to start firing valuable empoloyees.
This is the time to look for work outside the US. WAGMI.

>I have almost completed my master's degree in theoretical physics and I lost the drive...
Don't give up. You would regret it the rest of your life.
>I feel too dumb after almost failing an exam.
Few people sail smoothly through life with zero resistance. I have certainly had a few setbacks myself, just got a fresh one earlier this week. It is no fun, of course, but I know I will just grind on. Remember "experience" are just the failures you did that others were not aware of.
>Should i just drop out and pursue medicine,
No. Stay the course. After that you can do a master's degree in medical physics if you wish, things like NMR etc. requires some theoretical insights.
>i just want a scope and good career
That is not a problem, as a physicist you have an excellent platform to pivot into all sorts of work, check out the FAQ, it is heavy on the physics parts.

WAGMI !!

It is hard to forgive when you cannot forget. And my favourite book remains the Count of Monte Cristo. There are advantages to forgetting. It can be more comfy.

Can science explain fainting goats? What is the evolutionary purpose?
