>The introduction of the cipher 0 or the group concept was general nonsense too, and mathematics was more or less stagnating for thousands of years because nobody was around to take such childish steps ...

>Since then I've had the chance, in the world of mathematics that bid me welcome, to meet quite a number of people, both among my "elders" and among young people in my general age group, who were much more brilliant, much more "gifted" than I was. I admired the facility with which they picked up, as if at play, new ideas, juggling them as if familiar with them from the cradle—while for myself I felt clumsy, even oafish, wandering painfully up an arduous track, like a dumb ox faced with an amorphous mountain of things that I had to learn (so I was assured), things I felt incapable of understanding the essentials or following through to the end. Indeed, there was little about me that identified the kind of bright student who wins at prestigious competitions or assimilates, almost by sleight of hand, the most forbidding subjects.

I agree with everything except I not sure about
>And that place is also within time and is all time simultaneously.
What does it mean to be all time simultaneously? It almost seems like that'd imply some type of determinism.

>What do you imply by your last paragraph?
In your paragraph you were talking about simultaneity and how what is here now is what was before time.

I was saying this doesn't seem so unreasonable. Often in mathematics there are many mutually exclusive choices one can take, but if there is nothing "special" to distinguish one state from another then you can't select any choice because if one is true, then the others must be equally true!

I was saying if you assume existence is eternal and there are infinite universes, one might apply this argument to time itself to get your simultaneity conclusion.

Yes. Midwits love to deny it but math ability is a much better way to measure intelligence than IQ itself.

>The person who developed integration even agrees that it's a waste of time to be done by humans.
And the person who developed modern algebraic geometry said that his work was an abomination and that all copies of it should be destroyed. What's your point?
