happens to me all the time and i remember it always being like this. my dad would rage at me when he'd point stuff out and it'd take me forever to find what he was pointing at and often id just give up out of frustration. i really have to pause and think now to try deal with this, its embarrassing at work because i do a reasonably physical job where we need to communicate between each other and call out errors/fuck ups. it happened again the other day too when i was at the road with my girlfriend and she was pointing at a ribbon on a tree (because its christmas) and it took me ages to find where the fuck she was pointing and all she did was laugh at me because im looking EVERYWHERE but where she is pointing.
