Ok /sci/ , I am not a mathematician, not even close, but I have to deal with some differential equations. Since I like to have a deep understanding of things without wasting my time excessively, I would like to know the following.

I suspect that if I have [d x(t)] / [dt] = f(x(t)) , then [ [[d x(t)] / [dt]] / [d x(t)] ] = [d f(x(t))] / [d x(t)]

And maybe, if two functions are equal, then its derivative is also equal.

How can I prove that?

Pic related, since it is related with everything.
