other way to see that the six triangles have the same area (equal to 1/6 of the total area) is because each of these triangles have a basis equal to 1/2 of the basis of the total triangle and a height equal to 1/3 of the height of the total triangle.
This last statement can be proved by similarity using the fact that the centroid divide the median in the reason 1:2 (and to prove this you can also use similiraty, see the picture as a hint)
