Lets say someone operates a business that does your particular field of science or engineering.

HOWEVER. It is 20 years from now and the past few generations have grown up. This business has been themed after an "evil villain" organization. Bond villains, Venture Brothers villains, have what you want.

It is a themed business. You are being offered your usual wage, with acceptable benefits. However you MUST wear a uniform themed after the organization.

The owner of the business insists that this is all legal work and he is only a fan of the villain theme.

Do you work for him? Would you run such a business yourself?

I'm 25 and going back to college to be an Engineer (in what specifically I am unsure, primarily looking at general Mechanical Engineering, with a high interest in robotics.)

However, people keep telling me I should go Navy. Nuke Tech especially. I know that isn't for me...but are there other military engineering jobs I could get that would spring board me forward?

The power loss during transmission without step up and with step up are ...
P1 = Ip^2 R
P2 = Is^2 R
R is the resistance of the copper wire of length 2l = L = 30x10^3 m
Specific resistance of copper = pi d^2 R /4 L , where d = 4x10-3 m

So if I know the specific resistance I get the value of R
(P1 - P2) gives the difference in power loss in watts.
This can be converted into Kwh and hence the saving

Difference in Power consumed per day
= (P1 - P2)x10^-3 x3600 x 24 Kw
Difference in the no. of units of power consumed is
(P1 - P2)x10^-3 x 24 / 3600 Kwh = 9.665 x10^7 Kwh
This multiplied by the currency gives the money saved
