Depends what classes you take in HS right now. Being in Texas, I got college credit for passing AP tests such as English, History, etc. If you do good on those tests, you can be exempt from taking gen. ed. classes and can go straight to classes designed for your major.

I'm an arts student and I absolutely hate it. I want to change possibly into either geology or biology. I am hoping to get an outdoorsy sort of job if I do this.

Will this be possible? What should people that want an outdoors type career take?

So /sci/ I have a question on partial derivatives:
Z=5x/y + ln(3x^2y) - 4y
and I need to find ∂z/∂y
How the fuck does 5x/y turn out to =-5x/y^2
Seeing as x should be treated as a constant shouldn't it be -1/y^2? The hell am I doing wrong?
Also how does ln(3x^2y) = 1/y, sense has not been made.

in the UK we have a station called "yesterday" (formerly UKTVH1 then UTVhistory) where, other then shows about Nazis and some decent shows with the aforementioned Fred Dibnah they show costume dramas, no shit, costume dramas, I mean, WTF?

I just took a small test exam of the GED, total of about 100~ questions, didn't do the writing because I couldn't be bothered.

Now I am a high school dropout in the EU, and I passed each area on the GED, which apparently is the equivalent of a US High School diploma/

Is this really how easy high school exams or classes in the US are? The math section was incredibly easy, for example;

I scored about 80% on each area without even preparing, I've mostly had trouble with US/EU differences that I had to look up (cm/inch or C/Fahrenheit) and some words that I didn't understand.

I have my final in Biological Anthropology in a few hours. I have most everything down but I want to reinforce some things by discussing them. and as I have no friends, I figured I'd bring it here.
