I think it's true for most places, institutions, what have you. It's always gonna be half and half. NASA doesn't just hire democrats or republicans. But the scientific community around me has always been democrat as long as I've been in the rover business. Liberals are just WAY more vocal about their political opinions; it disgusts me. I mean look at Nature (the scientific paper publisher). Pic related should infuriate you. I don't care if they came out in support of Donald either. Science should be fucking opinion-free, yet it's run by a (((tribe))) who want to be vocal and push their ideas on you
