/sci/ why are all of you so unhappy? Why is it that people in engineering/scientific degrees are generally less happy, less social and less pleasant to be around?

Could it be that the sciences draw a certain personality type? I recently changed my major to my minor (computer science) and switched to economics.

The whole atmosphere is completely different. Everyone seems brighter, happier. There are girls too. Whenever I take an English or Philosophy class (Lib arts school) everyone seems to much more interested and alive. Sure they don't know how to take a derivative, but they are such happier people.

Sure there are exceptions, but by and large you are either in a technical degree:
> Socially retarded
> No girls
> Feel superior to everyone else because you can do math
> Generally decreased quality of life especially in college

Or something less technical:
> Actually go out and do things
> Fucking girls everywhere
> Happiness
> People you seem to actually want to be around
