>If all of these climate models have failed in their predictions
that's a big IF there, friendo :^)
>Fuck even questioning it will get you attacked as can be seen ITT
>You don't even have to debunk the myth the simple act of asking questions is fast reaching taboo status
Climate deniers get the same treatment as flat-earthers and anti-vaxxers for the same reasons. It's not that they're disagreeing with us, but rather that they're being retarded and demanding that everyone else be retarded too, despite the fact that their brand of retardation brings verifiable harm to humanity.

Hello /sci/,

I'm normally il/lit/erate, but I just got accepted in a science teaching role. Nothing fancy, just lower science general science.
I'm here at ask, what would you have loved your science to have done? Is there anything that your teachers lacked that would have made you more interesting? Did they do anything that made you love science? Or anything that they did that just pissed you off?
I'm going to be dealing with low ability kids, so really anything that helps them get into uni will make me happy.

The funny thing is that MTU has competed with other Ivy League's and bested their engineering teams. I'm sure the Ivy League's on average produce amazing individuals, they have the resources to do the most with their research initiatives, but that doesn't invalidate the usefulness or productivity and research value of smaller universities. MTU is a good option, and there are plenty of individuals outside of those you've listed that have gone on to do more impressive things.

I love MIT, they have an amazing institute, but that doesn't mean they are the master-race for research. Subjective bias doesn't trump the reality that other colleges contribute greatly to cutting-edge research. I can shit on UofM all day for being an Ivy League wannabe, but that doesn't do jack shit to disrupt the concrete reality that they produce dozens of brilliant minds every year.
