/sci/ is full of jealous math majors who religiously refuse to believe engineers do more formal math than ODEs, when confronted with actual curricula proving them wrong they go full cocoon denial mode.

This type of being is born when a sub-par student and questionably functioning autist enrolls for a mathematics degree and then makes the mistake of believing that the material is actually difficult just because he/she is struggling with it and therefore when confronted with even more difficult programmes -which are actually rewarded by society- their brains cannot fully process this very real phenomena.

And thus major politics on /sci/ is born.
