has science or anyone produced a video that shows a continuous zoom from an ordinary object (such as a rock or a flower) up to the atomic level? id really like to see how things change in a smooth fashion
i also understand that the techniques used to "observe" atoms are not the same we use to observe cells, but is there a video that zooms as much as possible with the first technique, and then as much as possible with the other techniques? ive always seen screenshots, so to speak, of the different levels, but seldom a smooth transition, and i find it hard to visualize
any links, any help?
pic not very related

When I think about the size of the universe, it makes all my problems fade away.

The most important things in your life are ultimately insignificant in the grand scheme of things. So just enjoy the ride.

Why would I want to do that? It seems clear you do not know very much at all.
All we would be doing is finding out the limits of your vast ignorance. Why is that my problem?
Why should I have to quiz you until everyone can see your vast ignorance? I have no interest in your ignorance or your lack of understanding. I already know they exist.

its funny, i go browse the other boards, get bored, and come back to threads like this. its like coming home. /sci/ people are awesome :D

on topic, this picture. I find it amazing that people can believe that we are the only intelligent life in the universe, when there are such an incredible amount of places out there. the size of it has never ceased to amaze me

Yeah, we're not talking a few finite oceans or deserts here nigger. This will give you an idea of the scale.

Do you think you have "twins" doing the same thing as you right now in a place exactly yours (same desk, pc, etc.), in a planet just like ours, but in another galaxy light years away?
